This one is full of great characters, a relatable and too real friend group, fantastic storyline that is presented in what is becoming the classic style of its author. He had me in was faster than the Carl series got me. I’m ready for his next release in may
Saw people raving about this book on tiktok and also had a friend suggest it to me. It definitely kept my interest but I was slightly disappointed. The humor was very boy-ish (lots of jokes about foot fetishes, breasts,etc.). Just not my cup of tea. And maybe I’m crazy but I felt a very subtle..
Why? It’s getting worse every book. it doesn’t make the book better… I’d rather not stop the series, but I’m over it.

I’ve listened to all of the audiobooks twice now and just finished This Inevitable Ruin. The narration, the story, the characters, everything is wonderfully composed. I’m excited for the next book!!

I love the fact that they have multiple voice actors. It gives the story more feeling.
was really hoping for Chuck Norris to make an appearance…. but there is still time.

Love the story. The blend of humor and peril make for a great listen. The creative mobs and descriptions are always a chuckle.
