they’ve done it again, fast paced, plenty of twists and turns, amazing dialogue and the narration is truly masterful.
never a let down.

The story had an interesting concept but just wasn’t very well executed. Parts of the story just didn’t mesh, it’s like the author had a bunch of ideas and smashed it together into the story. I think this book had a lot of potential if more time was taken to iron it out.

It’s always good to read a good series and have a shout out in the random state of Iowa! Lived here all my life. Best series I have read.
I’ve been in a funk lately and thus has really cheered me up. I love princess doughnut and Carl and Mongo . I can’t wait for more of Mort-ah-kai (no clue how to spell) and his back story . thanks for the laughs and exciting plot
This would be a good book if it was a complete story. It takes place over many books and this one book does not complete the any part of the story.
This is my second time listening to this book and it is even better this time. The story is hilarious and Jeff Hayes who does the audio is amazing. I didn’t realize it was one guy doing this until about the third book.
The story writing and narration are consistent, immersive, fast-paced, and witty, plus I like really cats. Nuances, such as all caps yelling during internal chat and subtly catching the listener up with events that happen over several books make the storytelling effortless.
The premise started out really interesting, but the rationale behind the obvious big questions of the book never materialize. The closest you’ll get is “the aliens have proven God exists, so he does,” with no actual evidence presented to either the characters or the reader. That’s all the basis there is for some truly terrible..
