Review from The Butcher’s Masquerade →
I enjoyed a new perspective in the litrpg genre. The pacing is good and there is enough progression to fuel the rpg aspect. Already got book 2.
It’s very good. The whole series is excellent. Dinniman is genius. His storytelling is coherent and entertaining. And the story is fantastic. Really nailed the antihero. Perfect balance of raw emotion and gaff. Hays delivers a mind boggling performance. His range is astonishing, every character is distinct and memorable. Highly recommend
Pleasantly surprised by the book and the story, but it’s got a weird format. Definitely worth reading. Idk maybe there’s a big difference from what was originally typed on RR vs Audible. Give it a listen you won’t regret it.
The story only gets better and the skills of Jeff Hays as narrator makes the characters interesting and the pace of the story is just perfect. This is not your typical dungeon crawler and the story keeps you engaged. I enjoy my daily traffic jams to and from work because this is the perfect time..
This is the third book in the series, the cover art can be confusing if you miss the tiny words that say book III. This story is wilder and more moving pieces than the previous stories. It only gets better and better. I have no idea what other books the narrator has worked on but..
I’ve listened to so many litrpgs but this series is… seriously the best. give it a chance you will seriously be surprised how good this is compared to others.
I see in this work, potential to be among the greatest of works. fun and interesting turn of events leads the listener to a world shaking conclusion.
it’s soo shiny and tasty, the tastiest tasty I’ve ever tasted 😋 Like really really tasty. is that 15 words yet?
the attention to detail, music sound effects and voice actors are amazing. and the credits are amazing.
