I actually had to stop the recording while laughing so that I did not miss the story progression. Fun and smartly written

really enjoyed this one. the story is well paced and easy to get lost in. the fine folks at SoundBooth Theater did a great job at narration as always. if you’re on the fence about starting this series, go for it. it’s a great read.

Definitely a bit of a niche genre, but overall this was a greatly enjoyable experience. The cast is excellent, as was their performances. Looking forward to hearing more!

Solid book. Lots of base building. Kinda weird how this “one of the best players in the game” can make some questionable decisions but overall good book.

the headline says it all, this is just so much fun! I have to shout out the narrator, he really makes it great!

Mostly just a character who backstory is as crammed full of stereotypes. He’s the rich kid/steer thug badass/traumatized youth/master manipulator/ humble genius, who just comes off as a whinny teenager or desperate cars salesman. Zero subtly and overly aggressive with no real power or authority and yet tyrants bother to listen to what he says..
