Best litrpg intro novel I’ve read so far. Very cheesy but in a great way
Incredible
Review from Dungeon Crawler Carl →
Nothing was very exciting. The mc was boring. Always mentioning past trials where he triumphs, and when he does something exciting, it is written boring. Very Disappointing. I made it halfway through the trilogy before I was done. I can’t stay awake for it.
Except there’s no video, only audio. “First I did this, then there was a monster that was really, really gross, and then my cat did a stupid thing, and then there were more little monsters, they were gross, too, but in a different way, and then I remembered this thing in my inventory [blah, blah, blah]…
I really thought this would just be a placeholder for the 9th floor, but damn this was a ride and a half!
It was serious, it was funny, it was very good. I was given this audiobook for free and have voluntarily left this review
The saga continues! New audio immersion sound tunnel sounds great! Can’t wait to listen to the free episode.
It’s more of the Boxy show, so it’s still great. but a two year time skip is kind of absurd for this series. Overall, this whole book felt pretty rushed and could easily have been expanded into two or maybe even three books to flesh out the interesting bits that just got swept over. Not..
