I keep laughing as I listen to this book. the story does get deep, and yes there is a message and drama, but the humor is to die for how do I get a damnit donut shirt?
Hilarious story

I’ve enjoyed series such as Dungeon Crawler Carl, Ripple System and Cradle series. I have added Chrysalis to that list. This book is almost purely progression and base building with very little character interaction. Having said that, the game mechanics and ability/spell development are excellent. I hope the next book has Anthony interacting with more..
I don’t think you could find a better voice actor for this book. The story is great. Carl has some plot armor, but even when used it is done like someone rolled a Nat 20, not like there was a Deus Ex Machina.
I’ve listened to the first three books and I’m listening to the first book again. Why? I’m not sure. The world is good and things are progressing. The characters, though, are very classically harem and are shallow in character. There are a lot of gag-me interactions. I’m moving on to listen to book two again; oh..
Started listening and didn’t stop. Adult humor and a good amount of action. Looking forward to the rest of series.
The series just can’t be beat, the fact that the main hero is a monster and doesn’t think like a human being but instead I mimic monster chest that’s grown in power in certain spots still only obsesses over shiny things, and good and bad is measured and tasty and not tasty ha ha
I’m going to start this off by saying I’m extremely picky person when it comes to audiobooks it’s extremely hard to get my attention and even harder to keep it but this book grab me from the very beginning and never let go . what amazing job the narrator did. this is the perfect example..
This is my favorite series of all time! I love the action, the comedy, the drama, and Princess Donut is the best! So much fun! second time listening to this series this summer!
I love this concept, character, and action. I appreciate and respect the BDSM while finding it clashes with the context of where my mind is at while listening to litrpg. I’m still biting at the bit for the origin of the gods lore, specifically chaos and the previous iteration. Jeff Hays… just fantastic as always…
