I was addicted from the start. I’m in mourning now because I feel like i lost my best friend. Hopefully the next book will be out soon.
Character is two dimensional and written like a child, almost like the author used a bunch of exclamation points.
the reality of the situation is that I will never likely listen to another book if it’s not on. I know that audible sucks in a lot of ways for writers but it is a platform that is easiest for users. I use Audible and I don’t use anything else. I really hope that you..
My friends beg me to read this but its a genre that undercuts story telling by pretending its an rpg. this review is a bit unfair to any author actually trying in the genre but this is the best selling one, i found it unfun, no comedy landed, and now its all audible recomends me.
I am so glad I found these books. Such a great mix of comedy and seriousness. The world continues to grow. New characters and greater stakes. 10 out of 10, no notes.
A silly campy read. Consistent action with very few lulls. Great reader channels Patrick Warburton vibes.
Have hard about them for a while but finally dove in after needing a break from heavier tomes. Absolutely caught me off guard with the humor. Fantastic narrator to boot! Straight to book two I go!
This is a must listen to series. I heard about it from a friend and I love it. Cannot wait to start Book 2!!
It’s not a bad story, pretty enjoyable in fact- proven that I’m finishing the 3rd book currently, but I’m not sure if I care to continue (I had started the series because I was overflowing with credits). It’s mostly “in-game” stat regurgitation and faux-genius-hero “thank god I did this thing that I did way beforehand..
This book continues the wacky, fun and exciting writing style narrated by an excellent cast. Worth the buy for sure!
