Basically came down to a dungeon crawl. Quick Wam bam and done. Entertaining but short.
Another home run for neven! A great addition to the series and I can’t wait for the next installment.A small grievance I have is that the book felt like a side adventure and didn’t promote the main story line as much as I wished.

Jeff Hays is the only good thing here. The constraints the author put in could use a back story to make it more convincing. The protagonist is so hollow. I couldn’t get very far in the story.
Loved it! Stoked to see what is next. Had plenty of good laughs, and appreciated the joke about a Tasha in there. my friend Tasha didn’t appreciate it too much though lol.
Series starts off kinda mid, but gets better with each book. Bigger stakes, bigger booms, bigger characters.
