Superb, stellar, fantastic, amazing. While it is not my top 3 of the series, it’s the foundation for the setup for the rest of the DCC series.

This is an excellent story. The pace is perfect and no sentence takes up unnecessary space. I love the message, and the story makes you wonder if humanity can ever truly embrace those that are different from themselves. The narrator is phenomenal!
very entertaining, insane but a great character story. Carl and Princess Donut are likable and very real.

The review title might not make a whole lot of sense right now, but you’ll get it by the end of the first few chapters. I sometimes have a hard time listening to audio books and most of them fail to keep my attention. Life is too short to spend time slogging through an audiobook..
Didn’t know what to expect when I started a LITRPG, now i’m hooked, and i’ve already bought the second book! Dammit Donut!
Didn’t know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. I even laughed out loud during certain parts of the book which isn’t a normal response for me.
Starting this off was an interesting change from some other stories, and I wasn’t sure what direction it was heading in the first hour as it had a turn that you don’t expect from reading the sumary.
