definitely pick up this book but make sure to start with the other books otherwise nothing will make sense. this is a truly epic war here filled with strategy and epic battles with magic and stuff, again, Read the other four books first!

Jeff Hays is one of the best audio book narrators I’ve ever experienced. He has ruined most other books for me. If it’s not Jeff, it’s not the same.

I loved how there’s more and more character development. The narration is always unique and immersive. The only downside I can think of for this book was how confusing it got with the floor’s design but it’s not important and the author tells you this in the preface.

I’ve read just about everything Jonathan Smidt has put out, from his dungeon core stuff to the elemental series, and he keeps getting better with each book.
