Review from Dungeon Crawler Carl →
This was a very good read. I’ll repeat a part of the review of the previous entry of the series, because this entry is just as good— It has all the elements I love about this genre: the statistics, the grinding, the artifacts, and the slow progression. It is all there. The humor is just..
Didn’t really know what to expect with this going in. Based off of Matt’s other work I expected more litrpg (not a bad thing) but was pleased to find a much more traditional sci-fi experience complete with helpful AI’s and Mechs. the narrators were also very good! I was completely sold on every character voice…
Review from Bunny Girl Evolution 1 →
I had already expected to enjoy this book given my perclivity for liking stories about people reborn as creatures or monsters and seeing them grow and improve over time. But this has blown me away, I really enjoy the voice actors take on pretty much every one of the voice’s, bringing all of the characters..
I’ve been waiting for this one since I finished book one. The western vibes were so beautifully captured: from the writing to Ryan’s narration, the other actors, and then to top it off…the music!! I don’t even know how to rate this book anymore. The scale broke several books ago, and somehow Matt Dinniman just keeps raising the bar. The Eye of the Bedlam Bride is brutal, emotional, terrifying, hilarious, and somehow deeply human all at the same time. This series started as chaotic dungeon survival with a talking..
Amazing voice acting! The story feels current and relevant, and has a huge beating heart at its center.
