i loved the first book. this second book gave me pause and made go from laughing to rage in 7 words. fan freaking tastic story telling. phenomenal performance! note story telling doesnt always mean the mc is someone you have to agree with all the time. i wanna hug this kid and box his antenna…

I came to this series from a recommendation on Facebook. I got sucked in right away with the primary characters Carl and Donut. No spoilers, but it’s been an amazing ride. The series is terrific. just put down book 5. can’t wait for the next one.

Duke Nukem+Borderlands=Dungeon Crawler Carl I’ve laughed out loud, Jeff is phenomenal; all around fun experience.
I love this series by Harmon Cooper. it was a blast to listen to. the characters came alive and the energy was amazing. I’m going to have to follow the characters in proxima online

This is a book that shows up on a lot of Les has a top lit RPG book. It is not a good book. People try to make excuses and say that it is simply gory or graphic. It is not; it’s full of misogyny and involves the rape and torture of women and animals…
Great narration as usual.! Many very funny segments – Matt Dinniman is vastly entertaining as always. Spoiler alert…. Problem however is the setting of this book – a bewildering labyrinth of ever-changing, criss-crossing subways, railroad lines, tunnels, platforms, portals, yards and stations. Became very tedious after a while and I kept thinking “ENOUGH ALREADY! Sheesh…”..
I could not guess what was going to happen next in any part of this book and that makes me very happy I thought I read enough of these to easily know what’s going to happen but this is pure gold
