I have about 60 books, this is the first time iI’ve written a review. The writing is pure warped hilarity and the narrator perfect for conveying the story. The premise is solid and probably one of the better litrpg series I’ve read or listened to, and for better or worse I’ve read and listened to..
Like I said, the story is good but the main character is a cringey, petulant litlle turd. He describes every female character in excruciating neckbeard fashion, going on and on and on about how “sexy” they are. It’s just bad. The MC is also really, really, really stupid.

The story and world building are fantastic what is not is the incest and the unnecessary pornography
The cover art is completely misleading. But, seeing how the main character is a mimic, its also spot on. All the misogyny, the disgusting graphic descriptions as this monster dissects the people it has killed. And, who gives a wet fart about the life of a repugnant D&D dungeon monster, anyway. Disturbing. Sick. Republican. yuck!

Now one of my favorite litrpg series ever. It really surprised me….. And shockingly not over done with constant stats
the excellent sound design, the top notch narration, the enthralling story, the hilarious jokes. it’s got it all.I loved the references to other books and games.there was a scene near the end of the book that was so well done it gave me chills. I can’t wait for more.

Yep, another series that has me completely hooked. Jeff Hays dose an amazing job (as always) bringing the characters to life. I love that there are so many sub stories going on, Not that you have to follow all of them to enjoy the books but they are there for the ADHD readers like me..
