I knew of dungeon delvers but never read them (listened). I am generally put off my series with books under 15-20 hours. this caught my attention, and so I hopped in. fun book, and now I’m off to listen to dungeon delvers to see what I have been missing.

Amazing! The narrator matches the tone of the book so perfectly that I got hooked instantly. After binging the whole thing I just had to start over and enjoy it again!

I’m constantly amazed at Charles Dean’s ability to capture human emotion so vividly. reading throughout this book and witnessing the development and subsequent changing of the characters inside is a delight to behold. I highly recommend this series to anyone interested in a great listen.

I found the survival gaming aspect and book in general entertaining escapism. Just what I was in the mood for. There’s some hole’s that one needs to ignore, for instance if the protagonist could kill monsters with a spear, organized military resistance (tanks, etc.) would have decimated them, but that’s OK. This is one of the best books in the genre, hell, one of the beat in many genres. Can’t recommend this title enough!

I love it when a book comes out of nowhere and surprises me. Got this on sale and hoped this would be “good enough” B-Movie urban fantasy fare; instead discovered a great story that tempts me to burn a full credit on book 2. This has all the feels of favorite series without being derivative..

this book brings frustration with no relief. storys ok. the narrator’s were on killing it though.

I continue to enjoy this story line and am totally and egorely await the next in the series.
