Not terrible, but nothing mind blowing. This book seems to center more on the base building mechanic of the RPG genre first, then character progression. The romance comes really late and was forced and it felt as if the author was ashamed he had to write it, and its only purpose was to drive one..

The book started slow, but the characters finally developed ad it had a decent story

The build up to the main event and the surprising result was a great listen I really hope book 5 comes out and this series isn’t abandoned

Some parts of the story have background sounds. Particularly, in the winter area, it made characters conversation hard to hear. Turn those down please.
