With any literature that contains game elements, the MC obviously needs to survive for the story to progress. Keeping the MC alive while not making them seem overpowered is difficult. Luckily, the author introduces enough close encounters and near brushes with death for this story to work and provide hours of non-stop immersive entertainment.

This is a phenomenal book series!!! I didn’t think you could improve on the first book but the author took it too the next level! Laughed and cheered along ever step of the way. Great narrations and amazingly story telling! Will definitely listen again when the next book comes out!

slow burn story burn It explains a ton of back sorry and mechanics of the level system and magical system. if you hate clif hangers then avoid it. but I really enjoyed it. narators did great.
