This book in particular was complicated but worth it. I cried twice I think. And the characters were perfectly reaching their arch’s.

This book in particular was complicated but worth it. I cried twice I think. And the characters were perfectly reaching their arch’s.
What a fantastic continuation of the story! The author did such a great job! I love how in depth the world keeps getting and how consistent the characters are.
Carl and Donut are the perfect duo. Their combination of charisma, grumpiness, sass, and sarcasm is perfect. Can’t wait to hear the next one in the series.
This narrator is phenomenal with his variety of voices. It brings an already incredible story to life. Can’t wait to listen to the next one in the series!
I normally don’t like LitRPG, but Carl and Donut’s story is incredible. The depth of character development and plot makes the LitRPG aspect feel like the a secondary plot point to the characters themselves.
And the saga continues. It is still entertaining and the voice actors are still engaging and capture my imagination. Continuing to be a great story.
It’s not a bad book but I really didn’t feel anything for the characters, none of them grabbed my attention. There were no one that stood out as a leader. I may listen to the other 2 books but I might just cut my losses here and not spend credits on a nothing kind of..
all of it. very riveting book and the narrator did an outstanding job. I very much look forward to the rest of the books in the series.
Catharsis for the series. It started slow but built up. I’d love to go back re listen to it again when the new book 8 comes out in may. Can’t wait for the next one
