platypus and yes we are from a whole different universe all powerful and immune to blunt and piercing damage
The author really doesn’t trust their audience to understand what’s happening, feels like hand holding the whole way through and over simply explaining things. The action is flavorless and the main character is so dorkish it’s painful. The jokes fall flat every time and the premise leaves little to no mystery or compelling conflict.
I’ve been waiting for faction wars because I knew it’d be good and it did not disappoint. So much goes on though you have to read it twice at least. Which most of us plan on doing anyways.
An extremely entertaining story that is perfectly narrated. The characters and storyline is creative, well thought out and a pure joy to listen to.
The way the world is set up on this floor. And how it can still show the universe that takes place out side of the dungeon
Not as funny or crazy as dungeon hunter carl, but still very good. Much more grown up and kinda sad at parts, enjoyable characters, clever concepts another win.
The book is very entertaining. There’s a pull to keep reading it. Like playing an RPG and wanting to discover the next loot box. This time around, I really felt for the characters.
Was delightfully surprised to have the book pace as well as it did. The author coming from a longer series and still accomplishing a stand alone title is amazing to see
It’s good. But if you’ve listened to expeditionary force you’ll definitely see similarities. And that’s not a bad thing, it it definitely threw me off and a couple times throughout the book I forgot this was Dinniman and had to remind myself that it wasn’t Craig Allenson. That being said! If you’ve listened loved this..
