One of the best stand alone books I’ve read in a while. I’m just filling words now cus that’s all i wanted to say.

I’m not saying it’s the best book of all time, but I’m also no not saying that

Jeff Hays does an amazing narration, adding depth and comedic delivery of his lines as Carl. For even the new RPG fan this resonates.

Loved the story and delivery. Great voice acting! Had me laughing unexpectedly several times! I would highly recommend.

Jeff Hayes is a narrating GOD. I am so amazed at his range. when I first listened to this series, I had NO idea he was voivciall the characters.

The author really doesn’t trust their audience to understand what’s happening, feels like hand holding the whole way through and over simply explaining things. The action is flavorless and the main character is so dorkish it’s painful. The jokes fall flat every time and the premise leaves little to no mystery or compelling conflict.
