Starts great, gets boring quick. Too many mind games and politics, not enough adventuring. MC struggles to find quests, shops & supplies, teachers. Entire story has MC at a disadvantage while also struggling with xenophobia, racism, and Mommy/Daddy guilt issues. Not much of a LitRPG
have heard some great blooper reels after an audiobook, but the outtakes on this one after the credits were freaking awesome. ?
I loath pay to win loot boxes, yet somehow I sit on the edge of my seat to hear every detail of Carl’s loot. The system AI is hilarious and witty, the world feels alive and immersive. I marathoned this until 4am, highly recommend!

I used to be upset that it seemed like Matt would never finish Dominion of Blades. Of course I still want him to BUT. This serious is amazing. It’s original, funny, and genuinely well written. can’t wait for more.

This was a really amazing series. A really cool take on the whole getting trapped in a game bit. Characters are great doesnt spend all day going over stats. Also appreciate that it was a trilogy and not a never ending chain of books. Tip of the cap to the Author and everyone that worked..
