I finished book one, will probably not invest time in book 2 or 3. Writing is fairly poor & characters are one dimensional.
This is one of the most engaging audio books I have ever listened to. I find the story to be captivating and the Soundbooth Theatre production really brings it to life. When can it be made into a Prime series?
Without a continuation from this book that fixes the ending, this meta-cliffhanger of a book will leave you frustrated at best and walking away from the series at worst. why are you reading this and not listening?get it nowit’s both shiny and tasty.if you love fantasy and want to get caught up in a whirlwind of entertainment get this series now
Liked it but the ending was obvious and kinda a kick in the balls spent a huge amount of the book when I first guessed it hoping I was wrong but…..
Love the series so far! my only complaint is the volume difference between the main character an Vick. Vick is nearly shouted at us but the main narration is very calmly spoken.
It is difficult to not spoil the story and still convey the sheer madness contained in this book. The authors references are perfectly captured and presented by the narrator. Laughing while crying and cheering is an odd situation for the listener to experience. Great book!
