Jeff Hays does great. The jokes are funny. The main characters are unique and have personality. The author does a good job of making the power up feel earned from work rather than given.
I just cannot get into this book and it quickly just becomes background noise. I’ll probably continue reading it but wont spend the money on the audio format any longer. Matter of fact I’m going to return it so its not cluttering up my library, as I have no intention to listening to it any..

Enjoyed it. Beginning was a little cheesy but the transition and origin was gruesome and also awesome. Mostly cohesive story. Have read up to Book 4 and plot progresses nicely. Some issues here and there that could deal with a good editor.

As the character has progressed and became a more powerful chief, he has become a true boss with his primary focus on the big picture. This story has brought put my favorite character too. The main evil and probably the end game, Nihilator.
