Great narrator. Amazingly entertaining and it made me audibly laugh several times. I was not expecting it to be good.. It is not a book I would normally choose but on a whim I did and I loved it. I am excited to read the whole series. A++

The best listen! This audiobook was incredibly entertaining and had me hooked immediately. The sound quality was perfect and made the story even more immersive. I will absolutely be listening to all of the books—highly recommend!

The narrator sounds like he’s doing a (poor) David Putty impression. I dont understand why this isn’t tagged as Young Adult.

Holy hell this was entertaining. “Hitchhiker’s guide” meets “Hunger Games” in a RPG style. Great concept, funny, great characters, I am all in.

I was hooked after the first book! Alas, the series is not finished yet. LitRPG isn’t usually what I like listening to, but this series is worth it. Once it gets going there’s non-stop action with hilarious characters and a lot of heart. I usually listen to books at 1.25 speed, but it’s practically impossible..

This story is so much fun and the narration is perfect for it. Highly entertaining and enjoyable.

I enjoyed this very much. Carl did alot of things I thought about right before they happened. This book was highly entertaining and I found myself laughing alot. Great job on this! Starting book 2 after this review.

My wife and I really have enjoyed the series. Jeff Hayes does a stellar job reading and we’ve listened to a few Matt Dinniman books. I cannot stress enough though Soundbooth Theater’s Audio Immersion Tunnel is much better, even though it’s behind in the series.

This was probably the best audiobook I’ve ever listened to and the story was absolutely absurd in the best way possible.
