Adding the cookbook was a game changer to the series. I love the creative ways the characters kill mobs, but there were parts where the emphasis on the overly complex train system left me feeling confused and lost.

I love how carl starts to develop as a character and find his niche skill.

Hooks you from the beginning. Didnt know litRPG was a genre. As a busy parent that had to hang up the sticks to make time for family, this series on audio book is the perfect way to get back into reading. Makes me miss EQ2.

The story itself is fun, engaging, and fast-paced. But the audiobook production made me leave my physical copy behind completely! Truly excellent voice acting and sound effects. I will continue this series by audiobook only because I loved this so much!
