This book was a ton of fun. Over all great time. Took me a minute to get used to the narrator but once I did I loved his voice… like Nick Offerman mixed with Patrick Warburton.

this is kind of a turning point in the series. it still has that unhinged nonsense and poop humor throughout but the story becomes a little heavier as characters develop. it’s not a bad thing, but for people who are just in it for the humor it may be a turn off.
Pretty good story that I wasn’t anticipating. Some predictable situations and a few that were shocking. The twists and turns of brother and sister as they awaken their magic after a devastating event. Time for book 2

Amazing how each character came to life! I was drawn into this book from the start! I didn’t want it to end! This one by far is my favorite book of 2022! I can’t wait to hear more from such an amazing writer! I was purely captivated!
It was a pretty easy book to listen to. At first the AI got a little annoying as he described the items and achievements, but after realizing it was the aliens way of acclimatizing to human entertainment, it got easier to understand and tolerate. Though more often than not it got a good actual chuckle..
Enjoyed the book and the voice acting minus the garbage voice quality and acting from the Critical Drinker. Do I dislike him yes, but the audio quality is garbage and his acting is really bad besides a couple of lines really sounds like he’s reading for a high school freshman class presentation. Book is great..
