In an audiobook there are 2 parts, the Writing of the book, and the production quality/performance of the Audio. in the Dungeon Crawler Carl series of books, I’ve found the gold standard for what a LitRPG ought to be. No one note personalities. Genuine struggles and problem solving between clashing groups and inviduals with believable..
Made it half way through then had a sudden feeling… went and looked at the plots for the next books… I misinterpreted what kind of story this was. I like charm and purpose with my violence and sex… this is satirical murder pron. Like a comedy slasher film. Jeff does a great job as usual..

this book is a culmination of alot of build up from a while back and it delivered in my opinion. I won’t lie it had me crying big manly tears at a few places. it also had me laughing hysterically. this was definitely worth the listen. can’t wait for book 6
