I listen to a lot of books like this one. I loved the call to the Dungeon Born books. It is a cool way to go about another dungeon core book’s series.
This has fast become one of my favorite series. James has created an amazing world with fresh mechanics laced with just enough humor blood and steamy content to keep you fully hooked in for the ride. Sound booth can do wonders with bad books but when they have good writing to go with great performances..
I have grown to dislike when books in this genre are unclear how progression takes place or…it goes to fast or too slow or whatever. This one has great pace, good story and of course an outstanding narrator. Progression is understandable.
really enjoyed this first book and looking forward to reading the rest of the series, the same narrator is boxymoring wood books so naturally he was very entertaining.
I think some people probably younger than myself would enjoy this book. But with it’s annoying cast, (the voice actors I believe did the best they could with the characters) story that reminds me of a kingdom hearts fan fiction, and the jokes that make no sense and are deader than the dungeon’s inhabitants (did..
I liked it, and it moved well. it did feel short, with only a few events. I am hoping it is more of a setting of the stage, middle book.
really enjoyed this book series! the author had this all planned out perfectly so that we as listeners could just enjoy the ride and he ended it on a perfect note! thank you for the great listen. the narrator is one of my all time favorites he is a true talent in the audible world..
