An awesome series, I highly recommend it. Maybe it was just me, but I feel there was a huge climax with Matt and The Dark One, and all of a sudden Matt is dead…and The End. The ending could have been better….the series is great and I highly recommend it.
I want to say thank you to Charles Dean and the voice actors (Jeff Hays, Annie Ellicott, and Justin Thomas James). I have throughly enjoyed your stories. It has become a highlight and a joy to listen to your stories as audiobooks. I cannot tell you how many times I find myself laughing out loud..

I was hooked on this book from the second it started. Once again Charles Dead created a fantastic universe and gave a very satisfying ending to an epic trilogy. Not too bad, it plays into the clichés just enough to keep me interested, but isn’t too predictable.
Really good! I hope to hear more soon. I really liked how the npc’s were sort of self-aware.
It hit all the points never left anything out it was the best audible should add the other 2 books in the series

This is just bad. It has zero knowledge of the military and how they operate. A 16yo as a squad leader because of her ability Salinger the most lethal. They have a 17yo kid as psychological expert, with bad story writing to reach his goals. Worse scene was a creepy and badly written seduction of..
Charles does a really good job writing a story about dark heroes and can make a really good villian but I found the side character dynamic and growth in this story to be lacking and the end comes to abruptly, but with i guess this can be explained with the authors notes…((spoiler) note for author_..

I enjoyed every blood drop of this book and I wish the author Charles Dean a happy Thanksgiving also I thank the author with all my heart while reminding those who have lost loved ones that they will never die when they rest in peace in our hearts
