It’s killing me that the narrator makes the soul weapon sound like Cookie Monster. It’s a terrible choice and should not have been approved. It’s a poor choice and detracts massively from the quality of the book.

Butchers Masquerade is one of my favorite titles in the series. it has just chefs kiss story
The story is gratuitous violence for the sake of just that I kept going because I assumed something would go somewhere or anything. There is no point beyond a story from an interesting new perspective.

This book was overfilled with unnecessary explanations, character thoughts, underwhelming side stories and minutia in general. I didn’t know what to really expect when I chose this title. I was pleasantly surprised. Voice acting is great and the story was riveting. Take a chance on Carl.
