I’ve read a few lit rpgs and this one stands out. I usually like LitRPG where the world is real and not a game anymore. The author has found a way to make the game dangerous even though it is still a game and therefore the actions in the game have consequences.

This edition was not as good as the previous two books. The entire first 75% of the book was really slow. I feel that the author spent too much time writing about life in the hobgoblin camp and getting through that society. Nevertheless, I look forward to the next book in the series.

the story was good. Jeff did great, Annie was rough getting use to but eventually I managed. the background noise / sound effects was horrible though.

it’s a fun listen, and having been following Mr. Hayes from the Morningwood series, he’s a great fit for the narrator.
As this series has evolved, the narration and storytelling has gotten more compelling and engaging.

this was a very enjoyable listen and i cant wait to start book 2. Love the characters and their interactions and growth as the story progresses. I found Jack powers make me constantly wait for the next bump to see where they would go. Throw in some town building on top of everything else and..
