Jeff Hays voice for Carl really took an adjustment. I really disliked the “knot” in his throat. However, I was impressed by his other characters. Story-wise, it took until the last 3rd of the book before it got interesting.
The gang is back with more monster slaying goodness. Wholesome RPG adventuring with the right amount of conflict to keep things interesting. Also, I appreciated the ELLC reference. There’s a bit more downtime in this book, but that’s not a bad thing. Plenty of character moments with which to enjoy the performances of these fantastic..
Audio production is top-notch. I’ve been disappointed in the past few books in the series – it feels like the series has gone on too long without any specific destination in mind, and that the books have been getting less entertaining. I was holding out hope that this would be the final book in the..
I love sci-Fi. I was looking for an easy listen while working around the house. Bought this one after quickly reading the synopsis. I was loathe to press “stop” when I had to! This series has been my obsession for the last few months. Characters development is top notch with story lines that constantly keep you guessing and surprise you every step of the way. Genuine laugh out loud moments and a few tear jerkers as well. Can not recommend this series enough!
to a new series! Love that the MC is a Bard. A new take on the DND LITRPG theme. Perfect for LITRPG fans. Can’t wait for more!
The audio of this series adds so much depth to the story, that I hear the characters in their voice when I read it on my own.
love all of these stories just wish the last to were on audible, however I listen to the first nine over and over again. Jeff Hayes, and Annie ellecot have voices that connect you to the stories. very well done. I would recommend this to anyone with a D&D background will enjoy the storytelling! do..
