great story, looking forward to book two. I very much enjoyed the multiple perspectives from the family characters. Each character, from The wizened world war II vet grandfather, to the under appreciated son felt realistic in a way that’s uncommon for this genre. looking forward to book two.

it’s not an awful sorry, but litrpgs have a shelf life. i was enternet through the whole book, but about 2 TV episodes worth of plot happened. nothing was really solved, the war plot was wrapped up gettin the last book, and power levels were thrown ot the window. it’s a filler episode.
