I love this series and where it’s going. But there are some sex scenes with his 2 yr old dragon and it’s weird.

great story, looking forward to book two. I very much enjoyed the multiple perspectives from the family characters. Each character, from The wizened world war II vet grandfather, to the under appreciated son felt realistic in a way that’s uncommon for this genre. looking forward to book two.

I unfortunately didn’t like the direction the series took. It seems like the author took a great story and decided to stretch it. Aaron Oster is a great author and this was a disappointment even bringing people in from another amazing series. As a listener it’s never a good thing to accidentally skip 4 chapters..
love this audiobook by soundbooth theater! the writing and characters keep you laughing non-stop…can’t wait for the rest of the books

it’s not an awful sorry, but litrpgs have a shelf life. i was enternet through the whole book, but about 2 TV episodes worth of plot happened. nothing was really solved, the war plot was wrapped up gettin the last book, and power levels were thrown ot the window. it’s a filler episode.
