The audio file seems to have been poorly produced? Towards the end it begins to overlay itself, making it sound like you have one person reading two different books to you at once. It’s a real mood killer.
To be honest I was not sure what to expect when I first selected this audiobook. What I got was a great story for anyone who loves fantasy type dungeon and dragons games. A great concept and had me hooked almost immediately. I wanted to listen to it all the time and couldn’t wait to..
This could have been a great opportunity to completely wrap the story up. instead it was 85% wrapped up, and a few uninteresting threads were left for another book. I dont think I will be getting the next one. None of the crumbs left for me to follow seem very interesting.
book ffliwed well and became more likeable as it progressed. It had taken me some time to start this book but i thi k i will fly through the other two.
I really want to like these books. The Author has created a really cool and interesting world. With so much mythos and lore with a really well thought out magic system/shop. The world building/civilization aspect in this book are top notch. The only problem I have is Alaster. The guy just comes of as extremely..
I really liked the book, but I hate getting a cut scene from the end of the book in the very first chapter
I’m enjoying the story and the characters, but I keep encountering homophobic Undertones. Ive tried to look past it, but I felt like it was a major plot point in this book. It’s not uncommon in the RPGLit genre, but I’m still always surprised by it and disappointed.
It’s my third time listening to the series, I’m an otr trucker. I listen to books on average of 8-10 hrs a day. This is one of 6 series I listen to on repeat
