It reads like it’s this authors first book. lots of telling you about actions instead of showing you. Strange chapters where he starts at the end. Very flat and boring characters. I got through about 2 hours of this book. I wish it was better the narrator is fantastic but the writing needs a lot..
a true fantasy worthy of your time

I loved the story. I could follow the rules of this world and was happy during wins and understood for loses. I do not like spoilers so I can only say the book feels good til the end with enough excitement to keep you wanting to listen and forgo sleep. I will purchase second book..
Worth listening to

I would wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone interested in LITRPGs or just starting on LITRPGs. The story is unique and the world building is well done. The performance and production quality is deserving of 6 stars if I could give it that high. The narrators clearly invested themselves in telling this story well.
I liked it

So, while I read a lot of science fiction, I never really listened to LitRPG before. Then one of my friends recommended a book to me that he really enjoyed, but I did not. I won’t mention that book or series here. Anyways, after listening to those, this book came up on my recommended readings..
great story
