A lot of the elements that made the first book great were expounding upon in the book (cool IRL content and great character development). Also I’m a sucker for gladiator content. The narrator does a fantastic job bringing all the characters to life!

Overall some of the better writing in the genre. Some of my biggest complaints would have to be the general impopentence of everyone else until the main character arrives. The fact that no one takes the world message seriously is also unbelievable. As at a bare minimum governments and militaries around the world would have..
garbage, predictable all the way from book one and to end on that note was a slap in the face for anyone who actually stuck through it to see if you would actually make it interesting. not worth a credit or your time.
