the repeat use of a word considered a slur and disrespectful just made me dislike the whole book.
Well
Review from The Calamitous Bob →
its quite a crazy idea here but it works. Matt’s story is insane, unhinged and yet completely familiar and Jeff just is Carl and donut life blood.all the voices are awesome and have each there own zanyness I love it great team here.
Whats there not to like what won’t carl do? and every voice is amazing , love all the banter and extra bits.
Loved honestly all of it try to pay attention to only the main casts environment and it’s easier to follow the setting
Guy sounds like he is imitating Patrick Warburton. The story is absolutely ridiculous, and it imitates an unbelievable 80s style sci fi action flick. Somehow, it all works in a wildly entertaining audio book. I recommend it, but you need to be super open minded and probably a man born in the 80s.
nothing. I liked the entire book. was very amused. I can’t think of anything I didn’t like. I can’t wait to start book 2
Jeff Hays is a fantastic narrator and really elevates whatever he reads. However, the story was very lackluster. I understand this is supposed to be a sci-fi retelling of Confessions but by setting it in the sci-fi format, it leaves many avenues wide open for exploration. Spoilers— Blatant evidence that God and all catholic theology..
I am a so addicted to this book series and the narrator is amazing. I’m ready for the rest of the story!
