Great read. Seemed pretty straight forward at first with some great reveals later on. Very much enjoyed it.
Great book, my only nitpick is I wish we got a slightly more conclusive and fleshed out epilogue, but i otherwise loved the whole story including the ending.
It’s a great little short story, you can feel the Dungeon Crawler Carl influences very strongly, feels a little compressed like it’s a story that could of been twice as long but otherwise it’s a good little actiony short story with some good gut punches and a shameless attempt to address modern concerns regarding AI…
My first attempt at reading Gamelit and it’s just NOT my cup of tea. The narrator is excellent and was the only reason why I pressed on till the end. Lots of laugh out loud moments but in my opinion the story was drawn out. Glad I gave it a go but will more than..
I enjoyed this book so much! Matt was right when he said if we didn’t know where he stood when it comes to how he views the awful shit happening in our country right now from DCC, then we definitely would after reading Operation Bounce House. The very last line of the audio rings loud..
I liked everything. Hilarious, fun, action. I did not expect to love this book. But I am just about to start book 2.
I read this book before I listened to it as an audio book. Yes, these books are that good. It’s much easier to follow in audio and I enjoyed the experience immensely!
This is a great find. I enjoy the genre but dont character growth is often just levels. The progression the characters are making personally, as a team and to the world is great. The voice for Rock was originally odd but it now feels natural.I do wish we could get a clearer distinction of NPC..
Loving this series so much. The audiobook continues to be a performance on its own. The story is chaotic, entertaining, emotional, and can’t have enough of it.
If you’re even remotely curious about LitRPG or dark sci-fi comedy, the first Dungeon Crawler Carl audiobook is an absolute must. It’s wildly original, laugh-out-loud funny, and somehow manages to balance absurdity with real stakes. The premise is daring and delightfully unhinged, dropping everyday guy Carl (and the scene-stealing Princess Donut) into a brutal, alien-run..
