deceptively deep. the characters are three dimensional. I cared what happened to them. this is also a very funny book, and the action will keep you on the edge of your seat. this might be better than Carl.

My biggest problem is Carl sounds like a Patrick Warburton knock off. Which the narrator admits was his inspiration in interviews. It almost turned me off of the series. The second one I feel Carl finds his own voice. Similar but its not a temu copy anymore.
