The RPG aspect is a bit confusing, especially with everything being called essence – it makes it hard to understand or follow character progression, which is a big part of a litRPG. It also has the problem of a lot of these books where it will either say the same thing in several different ways..

This LitRPG handles RPG systems in a way that doesn’t make the player dread when the MC levels up. You don’t have to listen to the VA repeat in-game notifications a million times an hour and that to me is worth it by itself. The story is so funny that I’d genuinely find myself cackling..
