did not enjoy the sound effects on this one. the book is great, but if someone is talking while in a bubble or behind a closed door, I dont need the narrator to be crazy muffled… too many times I just couldn’t hear because the sound suddenly got super low/muffled, just to then suddenly jump..
I lived the whole book, the relationships between the characters feel so real. And the end had so many oh-sh*t moments

Easy listen, goofy, but not stupid. Looking forward to starting the second book. Makes it easier if you’re already familiar with LRPG but it’s explained well enough, it’s not a requirement
more great stuff. it was a bit hard trying to follow some of the characters plans when they started talking about the different train lines, but it was still a fun book.

This series is one of the most unique stories I have read/listened to. The performances were amazing, especially Jeff Hays, and I can’t wait to get to all the other books! Keep them coming Matt!
