I enjoy the story though I wish Shami would warn when there is animal cruelty in her stories. Not sure what she has against cats! But I really enjoy the way these fun stories are narrated. Multiple voices reading their lines and sound effects too. Great listen.

This was much less complicated than the Iron Tangle! I really liked this floor of the dungeon and so much happened. Carl’s plans are really highlighted and you find out he is a secret genius. The ending had me yelling and pumping my fist.

this series is the one I measure all other gamelit/litRPG stories against. far and away above most of what rolls in from Royal Road, including the big titles. Jeff at Soundbooth Theatre is a top shelf narrator. Loved every second of this story and it’s sequels.

If you have any interest in TTRPGs its a must listen, but I think most that have no understanding of that can still find joy in this great book…and the rest. I can’t help myself, I find after I finish one I have to start the next. Definitely recommend, you feel all the emotions in..
