Review from The Butcher’s Masquerade →
Wow, where to begin? The Butcher’s Masquerade is one of the best books in the series thus far, taking place on the 6th floor, which we all knew would rival the 3rd floor as one of Scolopendra’s special levels. This book starts out with a resounding bang and the pressure stays high the entire time…
Jeff Hayes is an amazing narrator it makes the book 10 times better, Matt’s writing is what makes it all worth it. such an amazing set of books.
The series started off strong with a very interesting story with great characters and good gore but by book 4 the writing took a significant nose dive seemingly written by a 13 year old. I seriously suspect the good reviews of this book are fake. The romance and s*x scene felt shoe horned, flat, and..
MC was the most cowardly I have ever seen from Blaise Corbin. It might have been ok, but I only got about 3/4 of the way through the book, and I couldn’t finish it. In my opinion, if you aren’t enjoying the book by then, it’s not worth the read.
Especially the character Cade was really hard to understand because the actor used a fake German accent. Also the sound effects were too much. Some scenes in the jungle were ruined be distracting insect noises.
what a rollercoaster. absolutely amazing. the series keeps getting better and better. I cant wait to start the next book.
the narrator was amazing. comedy fit the tone perfectly. characters were very like-able. would highly recommend
This book had so many fast pacing events! The narrators both do amazing jobs of bringing all the characters to life. The story is unique and easy to follow given how the autbor breaks down the information. The only part I did love was the toad voices from the manager and I was glad he..
The Samantha Saga begins. Great as always. Story keeps getting wilder and the characters keep growing and growing on you. Addicting series.
