Great story, in depth into characters, fast paced and weirdly plausible. Plus laugh out loud funny!!
The author continues to come up with such creative adventures and this time mixes it and makes you cry quite a bit! This is all brought to life by such a talented narrator that each character feels uniquely different and real.
Absolutely loved the characters, I preferred the first books level but the story and situations made up for it.
I have over 150 titles in my audible collection and have some experience with multi-book series. Dungeon Crawler Carl is easily top 3 and I only finished the second book. It’s engaging, funny, and deep in world and character development. I know I’m hooked until this story is over.
After how tense the last book was, this one is a lot more laid back. It’s a start of a new arc, and I’m excited to see what shenanigans Anthony will get up to this time around. Can’t wait for the next!
I was looking for a humorous follow to the first law books and found this gem. Writing is great and voice is excellent.
OMG I was laughing so hard I peed myself a little bit. The reaction to the guards and the god had me rolling.
I was skeptical of this book. it was a recommendation from a friend and didn’t really seem like theirs or my type of book. after the first few minutes of it I decided to give it a chance. Just finished, and already bought the 2nd in the series. what stood out was the various voices,..
Fantastic, as always. These books are surprisingly deep, and as the series progresses, we find out more about the political intrigue behind the games. The narrator and the audiobook production are just amazing.
Very well written and good character developments. Enjoyable and looking forward to the next books in the series
