i thought it was a fantastic book. Chester can be annoying at times. but I love the sound quality and multiple readers. super good. Will recommend to friends. already bought book 2

Serious character growth, actual emotions and reactions, strong female characters who are allowed to be themselves, not pretending to be guys, just out there girl bossing! Love it!

Way too much Donut and Mongo. Really takes a lot away, is super annoying, and ruins a great character in Donut. Its like how they ruined Misty by giving her Togepi. I hope the stupid raptor dies. There are large swaths for the story that are super boring.

Obsessed with the characters – can’t wait for the next one! Thanks for the laughs Matt!

This book was hilarious, the narration was on point. I felt like I was listening to a combination of Borderlands, Dark Souls, and Shangri-la Frontier. Cant wait to listen the rest of the series.

Loved all the characters and way they interacted. Great story and the gaming was well done.

The girl character irritated me to no end. The story was okay. I kind of felt like the issue wasn’t serious enough to warrant the murder of the mom.

Clever (and sometimes a bit gruesome) storytelling that doesn’t pull punches. If you were stuck in an RPG dungeon at the end of the world, you would want Carl and Donut to have your back. But don’t be surprised if they have to blow some s#!t up to get the job done!

Great Story and characters, and really funny. This is one of my favorite series

There’s no reason you should still be reading these reviews. Just buy the whole series of books already. Stellar performance by Jeff and an awesome story that always left me wanting more!
