This book is humorous, full of action and pulls at your heart strings. It’s INCREDIBLE. 10/5 stars if I could.

I LOVED THIS BOOK. Trust me, you want to read this series. Carl is easy to identify with even as a female reader. I am Very eager to start the next book in the series.

Maybe the book is as decribed. If the summary doesn’t float your boat, don’t expect the book to. Not sure I can handle a 55 yr old (guessing) reading the part of a 27 yr old.

The sarcastic humor, perfectly executed by the narrator, will have you hooked. Possibly the only series I’d rather enjoy only via audiobook.

This book is funny and entertaining and is the perfect blend of comedy and adventure. It is has a D&D/TTRPG foundation combined with Borderlands comedy. Jeff Hayes is one of the best voice actor/narrator I’ve ever heard. Highly recommend.
