A unique story told through letters. A a bit to get into it, but absolutely loved it!

This was a great book and my first from this author. The story had me from the start and only got better as it went along. Such great twists!

Loved voices and all the characters. Appreciated the contrast of wonderful moments and sad tragedy

This story was an overall bore. It was recommended by a few members of Jenna’s Book Club, so I didn’t preview it. Now I think it’s being recommended largely because readers are rooting for an underdog author. I quickly looked forward to the audiobook being over and that’s never a good sign. Loved walking through this story via letters, emails and postcards and learning about the characters through their communications. Fascinating to learn generations of history, only a couple years of letters..

Love this audio book. Well written and the performance was amazing! I honestly didn’t know what to expect, but I was hooked immediately!

Engaging, thought provoking, main character interesting, character development well done, presentation of storyline through letters is unique and effective! A great read!!
