Ended up getting really good, but I almost didn’t make it that far. Great twists to the end.

Excellent narration from a full cast, great writing, lots of thoughts to ponder on. Really enjoyed this one!

I loved the way you thought what was going to happen and surprise your wrong.

It was a lovely short story making you dive into fantasy of love, self-discovery, trust, and humanity. Many possibilities that life has to offer to those who meet the right person on their way.. and all the benefits of being loved and to stare love.

I love Spencer Quinn and liked the first of this series. This one fell flat for me, mostly because I’m near the age of the heroine and she’s portrayed as a ditzy, confused doormat. She wasn’t like that in the first book so that irked me. Story was just okay.

What a weird book and performance. So over the top and mushy. I fast forwarded most of this book at 2.0 just to get to the end.

I am in a murder mystery book club and we have read a lot of books. This one is in my top 10. Great twists, and it ties up so nicely. The performance was amazing as well. I was sad to not see this book as well known as it should be. 10/10
