Review from Love, Mom →
I really tried to like this book. I got so weary of the recitation of the main character’s street address over and over again. I did not enjoy the epistolary writing style. I read reviews that said that the last 20% of the book made listening to the first 80% worthwhile. A reader should not..
it is beautiful, dis-connectedly chronological and believable… heartbreaking and inspiring… like watching from above while hoping for the best
So well written. Emotional caring empathetic ! loved it. I would recommend this book to everyone. A vulnerable story that is filled with Life.
Review from The Correspondent →
The realistic structure & tone of the letters and the quality of the performance quickly draws you in to share and experience each moment.
This story is life changing. The characters are all so well developed and the idea of resurrecting the old form of written correspondence is inspiring and moving in this time where we are losing our ability for self expression to AI.
Wonderful book, and a better listen than read. The cast is outstanding and they really help tell the story.
