Not sure why the book required 8 chapters of smutty, lewd exposition to finally get to the action, which wound down and ended with more unnecessary of the same. If you don’t watch R rated movies, I don’t recommend.

This is a definite page turner! Lots of surprises to keep you guessing! Can’t wait for another book from this author!

The story itself was short and so so sweet. It kept me entertained the entire time and the audio was perfection!

Cara Bastone is just the best. Her books give me a contented happy feeling unlike any other author — and that may sound trite, or lacking in vocabulary, because I need better words to describe how good they make me feel. 😊

Engaging from the beginning. Lots of twists. I Couldn’t put it down! A wonderful storyline.

That love finds a way if we are able to get out of our own way. A good illustration of ways different people are healed by forgiveness.

The twist, the betrayal, the deceitfulness, the cruelty…wow! This book was so good! Evil never wins!

Fun listen, well written. Hope to read more in the future from this new author.
