The ending of this story yo me out so surprised she found her mom, who would have excepted this!!!

I loved following the story and characters through her letters. The emotion is shown not only in narrative but in words.

What a gem of a book. Not always does the narrating do it justice. This certainly did. Loved this book!

Excellent- loved seeing Sybil’s transformation late in life as she extended the circle of her acquaintances

The idea of a story that can be weaved together with some letters email and postcards. Brilliant. I loved the wisdom of living a full, complicated, loving and grief-filled life.

I loved this book and the performances the story broke me in the best way

Beautiful book. At first I wasn’t sure I liked Sybil, but as you read her letters you start to understand her. Then I loved her maturity in her 70’s as she examines herself and gives herself grace. Since I’m there also, teaches me to never give up.
